Shiatsu Massage
60mn | 65€ , 90mn | 90€

Shiatsu is a Japanese form of bodywork. The word shiatsu means "finger pressure", and shiatsu is sometimes described as a finger pressure massage.
Like acupuncture, shiatsu is based on the holistic system of traditional Chinese medicine, where illness is thought to result from imbalances in the natural flow of energy, or qi, through the body.

Shiatsu therapists use finger and palm pressure to energetic pathways, called meridians to improve the flow of qi.
A scientific explanation is that shiatsu calms an overactive sympathetic nervous system, which improves circulation, relieves stiff muscles, and alleviates stress.
The shiatsu therapist applies pressure using his or her fingers, thumbs, and/or palms in a continuous rhythmic sequence.
The pressure feels more localized, because unlike other types of massage, the finger pads are used to apply pressure for most of the treatment instead of the entire palm.

Certain pressure points may feel tender, which some people describe it as "good pain." If you feel any discomfort or pain during the treatment, tell your therapist and he or she will adjust the pressure so that it is comfortable to you.
Most people say shiatsu is as relaxing as a classic forms of massage therapy.

The treatment is done on the floor. Unlike other forms of massage, with shiatsu no massage oil is applied, so you remain fully clothed during the treatment.
Proponents of shiatsu claim that it may help with a number of conditions :
Relaxation, Back pain, Headache, Premenstrual syndrome, Anxiety, Insomnia, Neck and shoulder pain, Tiredness, Recovery from injuries, Stress, Arthritis pain, Poor digestion, Constipation, Depression.

Thai Massage
60mn | 55€ , 90mn | 80€

Thai massage is one of the oldest oriental massages in the world.

It is a therapeutic massage that, in addition to being very relaxing, also works the entire energetic system.

And, in Thailand, it continues to be used in the prevention and treatment of various pathologies. But in fact, the origins of Thai massage date back to India in the 2nd or 3rd century BC.

It is believed that it was brought by Jivaka Kumar Bhaccha, a doctor friend of Buddha and that, when Buddhism was spread in Thailand, so were the teachings of massage.

In the teachings of Thai massage, there is talk of energetic lines and points through which vital energy circulates.

When there are blockages in these lines, there is an insufficiency of energy, which means it cannot easily reach all parts of our system.

We have ten main energy lines that we work with, facilitating homeostasis, that is, we give space for our body to heal itself.

Thai massage is quite different from the most common massages we know.

It is a therapy that does not require any use of oil, it is done with clothes and without slipping.

Pressure is used with the fingers, hands, and elbows both on the muscles and on energy points and lines and also uses a lot of stretching.

Tui-na Massage
60mn | 65€ , 90mn | 90€ , 120mn | 120€

Tui Na massage  has been used in China for more than 2,000 years.
Tui Na massage therapy has been considered the external form of massage and is used for giving special treatments to people of all ages, from infancy to old age.
This Chinese therapy makes use of rhythmic compression techniques along different energy channels of the body to establish harmonious flow of Qi throughout the body and bringing it back to balance.
It works deeply with the positive energy of the body.

Many of the techniques used in this massage resemble that of a western massage like gliding, kneading, vibration, tapping, friction, pulling, rolling, pressing and shaking.
In Tui Na massage, the muscles and tendons are massaged with the help of hands, and an acupressure technique is applied to directly affect the flow of Qi at different acupressure points of the body, thus facilitating the healing process. It removes the blockages and keeps the energy moving through the meridians as well as the muscles.

The best part of the therapy is that it relaxes as well as energizes the person.
The main benefit of Tui Na massage is that it focuses on the specific problem, whether it is an acute or a chronic pain associated with the joints, muscles or a skeletal system.
This technique is very beneficial in reducing the pain of neck, shoulders, hips, back, arms, highs, legs and ankle disorders. It is a very effective therapy for arthritis, pain, sciatica and muscle spasms.

Other benefits of this massage therapy include alleviation of the stress related disorders like insomnia, constipation, headaches and other disorders related to digestive, respiratory and reproductive systems.
The greatest advantage of Tui Na is that it focuses on maintaining overall balance with both physical and mental health.

Ayurvedic Massage
60mn | 65€ , 90mn 90€ , 120mn | 120€

An ayurvedic massage helps eliminate toxins through purification, strengthens the muscle tone, relaxes and rejuvenates the body.
Also known as hard body massage, Ayurvedic massages are given using hands, feet, elbows, forearms and well-oiled balls. Ayurvedic massage involving tapping, kneading, squeezing and traditional massage strokes is done by using essential oils to suit individual doshas.

The style and intensity of massage depends on the individual's need for balance and well being at the time. An Ayurvedic therapist focuses on the "marma points", which are similar to the pressure points in reflexology, acupuncture and acupressure.

Reflexology is the application of appropriate pressure to specific points and areas on the feet. These areas and reflex points correspond to different body organs and systems, and that pressing them has a beneficial effect on the organs and person's general health.
Although reflexology is not used to diagnose or cure health disorders, millions of people around the world use it to complement other treatments when addressing conditions like anxiety, asthma, cancer treatment, cardiovascular issues, diabetes, headaches, kidney function, PMS, and sinusitis.
Reflexology is growing increasingly popular across Europe and Asia as both a complement to other treatments and as a preventive measure.
